We all had a great night on Friday 20th of November in the Legion, where we were in the company of some of the best poets in Wales.

The audience didn’t stop laughing all night, while listening to the poets reciting their poetry.

Osian Rhys Jones was the winner of Llanast Llanrwst’s Stomp 2009, with his poems “Cusan Jorizo (Iberico)” and “Cân y Llamhidydd”. He won a Stole that was given to Llanast Llanrwst as a gift from “Tank” who is a well known character in Llanrwst.

Lets hope that 2010’s  Stomp will bring even more laughter!!

Yn anffodus rydym wedi gorfod gohirio ymweliad Gwyneth Glyn dydd Sadwrn. Gobeithio y byddwn yn gallu ail drefnu’r sesiwn yn y flwyddyn newydd.Unfortunately we have had to postpone Gwyneth Glyn’s visitation. Hopefully we will get to rearrange in the New Year.

We had a brilliant night on Saturday, and kick starting our festival this year were our local lads from Penmachno, Crazy Mountain People. These are a band to look out for!!!

Then we had Geraint Løvgreen a’r Enw Da, who are very experienced in entertaining us in Wales. Everyone had a great night and Geraint Løvgreen got the crowd on the dance floor.

Let’s hope the next one will be as successfull.
